One customer portal, real customer experience

Lighting solutions for a sustainable future: that’s what Tridonic, a technology company in the Zumtobel Group based in Dornbirn, stands for. LED modules, LED drivers and controllers, software and apps: the Tridonic portfolio is diverse and complex. This makes it all the more important to have a consistent customer journey from marketing to after sales, which transfers the demands of customers from private shopping to the B2B world. This is exactly what the new customer experience platform enables: best usability, personalized offers and a stable, future-oriented IT infrastructure in the background.

 

The challenge

The design and user guidance of the existing website should be revised in order to continue to offer the customer the best service. For a new customer portal, a coherent navigation concept was needed to easily display complex product data or to facilitate the ordering process. In addition, the new portal was to meet the international orientation, with Tridonic segmenting by content, region and sales organization.

New website, new shop, one platform

The product catalog, the eShop and further editorial content are now integrated on a clear customer experience platform. The navigation is slim and uniform and intuitively leads to the desired product or the desired information. Using product families and product detail pages, users can then order. Context-aware, intelligent crosslinks simplify navigation.

With the new customer portal, Tridonic has further optimized its digital offering and improved the customer experience. The seamless navigation of the website follows an intuitive logic that quickly and easily guides the user to what he is looking for. The eShop and the product pages are clear and the check-out is easy. Within an application scenario, suitable system solutions and finally suitable product families are presented. In addition, there are clear system comparisons, comprehensible infographics and additional functional descriptions.
