  • FANUC, a leading company in factory automation, modernized its IT landscape to improve efficiency, security, and the digital customer experience by replacing outdated systems with cloud-based solutions. Previously, FANUC used several isolated and outdated systems, such as an old e-store and the My FANUC Portal, which negatively impacted usability.

     

    In collaboration with SYBIT, FANUC developed a central, fully integrated customer portal for FANUC Europe. The goal was to create a leading digital customer experience through a unified platform with role-based content, which is also equipped for future technologies like IoT. The choice was SAP Commerce Cloud.

     

    Thanks to agile methods, the new, user-friendly portal was quickly rolled out in over 20 subsidiaries and significantly improved the customer experience. The project was even completed ahead of schedule.
