With the easyJaw online configurator, SCHUNK has created significant value for its B2B users in machine and plant engineering, robotics, and the automotive sector. SCHUNK, a high-tech product manufacturer, has now been honored with the German Innovation Award 2023 in the category “W2 Excellence in Business to Business – Machines & Engineering.”
The jury highlighted the simplicity and speed with which users can order customized clamping jaws. Users can modify elements such as geometry, boreholes, interfaces, and even material types. Pricing and delivery times are displayed in real-time during configuration.
The configurator was developed in collaboration with digital agency Sybit and is part of a comprehensive e-business project that optimized SCHUNK’s website and web shop, integrating them into an existing CRM and marketing ecosystem. The configurator and additional features are continuously supported by Sybit's Application Management Support.
