The challenge
Founded in 1907, SAMSON has grown into a global market leader with more than 50 subsidiaries in over 40 countries. Globalization and digitalization have increased the need for a unified customer view. The challenge: Bringing different areas of the Group under one roof and reducing complexity in the diverse IT landscape. Instead of continuing to invest in the grown, heterogeneous solutions, SAMSON opted for a holistic realignment.
The solution
By opting for the SAP Sales Cloud, SAMSON laid the foundation for structured market processing and global account management. The motto throughout the entire project with partner SYBIT: Keep it simple. The implementation took place in three phases.
The result

On time and on budget. After around 6 months, SAMSON was able to go live with a near-standard solution on time and on budget. The SAP Sales Cloud was first introduced in Germany and later worldwide.

Global view of sales activities. Sales, including marketing, service, digital products and product management, work with one tool and have access to all relevant information for an efficient sales process.

Mobile application. All information and processes are also available on mobile devices. Interactive reporting is used for sales management and planning.

From standard to customized solutions. The project approach was textbook: first, features close to the standard were implemented, which quickly brought improvements. Customer-specific aspects were developed on this basis.
